Where is Narrandera?

Narrandera is located 2 kms from the crossroads of the Newell and Sturt Highways, 549km west of Sydney, 428km north of Melbourne, 852kms from Adelaide and 341kms from Canberra.

Located in Wiradjuri country, Narrandera is situated between the two major regional cities of Wagga Wagga (99kms) and Griffith (98kms). Over 6,100 people live in the town of Narrandera and its nearby villages of Barellan and Grong Grong and its farming districts.

How to get here

The Narrandera-Leeton airport is located 8km from Narrandera township, and is serviced by Regional Express Airlines with return flights to Sydney and Griffith up to three times per day. Flights to and from other major regions are accessible from neighbouring Wagga Wagga and Griffith airports.

NSW Trainlink operates daily coach services connecting to Sydney, Adelaide, Canberra and Melbourne.

 

Getting around

Narrandera has wide, shady streets, offering plenty of parking, and most accommodation options and event venues are located around the town centre near the main shopping district.
